THANK YOU

A HUGE THANKS to all who have been involved with our 2016 broadcast. There are many (too many to mention) people who have made this possible. From the presenters and DJs to the folk who've been down for Interviews, bands who played, choirs who sang, the team at Salem Mill, people looking after our social media channels, technical bods making the music get from us to you - we are trully grateful to you all.

We'll soon be posting the whole 4 days broadcast for you listening pleasure - if you missed anything or want to revisit a favourite show they'll all be available here shortly...

Recycle Radio is not a 'pop up' station - we'll provide more information about the future of the project in the coming days and weeks.

If you are interested in getting involved with the project in any way, or to receive updates via email please CONTACT US

LIVE BROADCAST ON RECYCLE RADIO

Recycle Radio Poster

On September 29th Recycle Radio will broadcast to the Hebden Royd area on FM radio, and to the world on Internet radio for four days of non stop music and talk.

The upper Calder Valley's only community radio station, Recycle Radio now makes a comeback, 2 years, and one flood later. Brought to you by members of the local community, it will be packed with a huge variety of quality entertainment and local interest.

This is the launch of an ongoing community radio station in Hebden bridge, further Internet radio and FM broadcasts TBA.

We aim to involve as big a cross section of the community as possible.

We will know the frequency soon so Be sure to tune in your FM radios! We're still working on the website but this is where you will be able to listen.

RADIO TRAINING

Radio training drop-in sessions at our studio in Salem Mill, Hebden Bridge will be held throughout the summer 2016 and into September. These are the dates.

WE ARE BACK!

Here at Recycle Radio we have been working very hard, with lots of great support from our DJ's, musicians and presenters (who also have hidden skills in carpentry, carpet fitting and general DIYery.) after several setbacks, the floods, (mainly the floods!) to get back up and running to bring great community radio back to the Calder Valley. We have built a new studio in a new location, using reclaimed and donated materials, time and skills.

Free training sessions will be starting up on Saturday 9th July at 10am at Salem Mill, Hebden Bridge, with our experienced radio trainers, Creedy and Shack, building up to our broadcast, date to be released soon.

Thanks for all your support and for sticking with us. It will be worth waiting for!
